Brunei
|
|
We went to Brunei last week for 5 days. We had a blast and great time in Brunei. Thank you to Afeef's TokChu and WanChu for the hospitality.
Unlike Malaysia (or exactly - KL), Brunei is such a peaceful, non-hectic, non-jam country. I adore the Bruneians respect to their King. We only managed to go to the Kg. Air (House on the water) We planned to go to the Empire Hotel (the 7 star hotel) and museum but have to cancel it due to mummy's first priority plan - shopping. 
We actually drove to Miri on the second day we were there. It took about 2 and half hr (non-stop) to reach Miri from Bandar Seri Begawan and it is actually about half an hour from Brunei's boarder to Miri. We spent a nite in Miri and drove back to Brunei the following evening.
On the 4th day we spent most of our time at home - to recharge ourself after almost 2 days in Miri. However mummy got a chance to go shopping with WanChu. On the last day we did our final shopping and in the evening - 6pm we catched our flight back to KL.
It was nice to be away for few days from work.. And it was good to be in Brunei - as to strengthen our family relationship. (We hardly see each other since they have been living in Brunei for the past 12 yrs!)
InsyaAllah, we will definitely go to Brunei again.. will have to wait for Air Asia's promotion fare again..! (we pay nothing for the fare - just pay the airport duty only)

Some update on Afeef's pic.. Taken on last weekend during Mummy's Department Family Day at Genting.
Appologize for the bad quality. Taken using camera phone.. mummy's camera is broken.. officially declared.. it's going to be expensive to fix the camera so better still to buy a new one. Already had one in mummy's wish list but our budget it's pretty tight now. Have to do some saving for our next year's big project  First thing first.. rite?

Afeef's Birthday Party

It was just a small and simple party. Mummy bought a Chocolate Indulgence cake from Secret Recipe. (Afeef loves chocolate cake) We also had a BBQ- chicken, prawn n fish and few other stuffs like fried rice, fried macaroni, fruit salad, mashed potato n etc.
Anyway thank you to wan + atuk for sponsoring the BBQ, maklang for the prezzie and the food and also for those who gave 'angpau' to Afeef. Afeef got a really big angpau that nite.

Happy 2nd Birthday Afeef

Last Thursday was Afeef's 2nd Birthday. Mummy was supposed to be on leave the whole day but she had to work. She only took 1/2 day leave only.  (Actually mummy had to investigate and do the audit for the RM84K missing money at her co's subsidiary)
There was no celebration on the day itself. On the afternoon mummy and daddy took afeef to the Zoo Negara. He seem to enjoy watching the animal especially the monkey. We supposed to celebrate his birthday at his nursery but then we had to cancel it since we don't have enough time. (mummy kerja in the morning kan so ptg bawak afeef jln)
Anyway today - Saturday 20/1, we are going to have a small party + BBQ for him in Seremban. Mummy only invites her relatives. Our house in Bukit Jalil quite small and it is more convenient to have the party in Seremban. One thing that only matter is hopefully he will enjoy himself.

On new year we went to Cameron Highlands. (To celebrate mummy n daddy 3rd anniversary) We went there for one night only. Unfortunately Afeef was sick (cough, flu + fever) so we did not enjoy ourself much. We were so worried at the little fella..
Anyway thanks to daddy for the treat to CH. We should do more often after this.. okkan dear?
